Concert Band is a class that meets daily. Students receive a grade for participation and perform in roughly 5–6 concerts per year.
There are three bands, Concert, Symphony and Wind Symphony. Placement is by audition. Rising freshmen will be placed in Concert band and audition for 2nd semester placement.
Students are being measured for their tux or concert dress by one of our concert uniform coordinators, Ms. Welch. Boys will be issued a school owned tuxedo and girls will need to purchase their dresses. In addition to the main portion of the concert uniform, students will need to purchase additional items of their own to complete their concert attire.
Students will receive their concert attire about 7–10 days before the first concert. Pants and dresses WILL NEED TO BE HEMMED BEFORE THE FIRST CONCERT on October 5.
CONCERT GOWN INFORMATION
Girls will be measured for their formal, black concert gown and sent home with the Concert Information form available below.
