On Feb. 10th, two of the Atlanta Symphony trombone players will do a performance/workshop from 2:30 - 3:30 in the afternoon. (All low brass invited!)
In the community, there are several upcoming recitals, concerts, and guest artists performing or giving clinics.
I understand how busy everyone is (myself included), but these opportunities often happen only once.
Who knows... you might decide to try out for a university band one day and the guys or gals who were here are your evaluators. Wouldn't it feel great to see a familiar face or have them remember their time with you at your own school?
You might hear a top level professional on your instrument and get motivated to work just a little harder to improve your skills. You might even decide to one day "do what they do".
Please make an effort to attend music events as often as possible. You never know what you might learn or what connections you might make!
