What is Pope JV Color Guard?
The JV Color Guard is a branch of the Pope Band program. Students whom participate will perform at all Pope High School football games, community parades, and selected exhibition performances. Students will learn the basics of spinning and dancing in the Pope Color Guard, and learn portions of the fall marching band show to perform at halftime.

The Pope JV Color Guard will have a reduced rehearsal schedule throughout the fall. The focus will be on fundamental training and learning segments of the Pope Band show to perform at football games/exhibitions, and parade routines.

Pope JV Color Guard Supervision
The Pope JV Color Guard will have their own instructor and parental supervision throughout all rehearsals at Pope High School. The Pope Band Boosters Association will coordinate all parental chaperoning. All Pope JV Color Guard members will be required to have all paperwork and medical forms submitted prior to rehearsing. NO transportation will be provided to events. Parents will be responsible in dropping off and picking up students at each event (Pope HS and East Cobber Parade).
