Volunteer Background Check Consent Form
The Cobb County School district has mandated that any individual working with students will need to have a background check before they will be able to work with the students in the Cobb County district. This form must be submitted EVERY YEAR for new and returning volunteers.
Individuals should proceed as follows:

- Download the "Consent Form" HERE,
- Complete the information as requested. APPLICATION MUST BE TYPED. No handwritten background consent forms will be accepted.
- Place in a sealed envelope with "Volunteer Consent Form" written on the outside,
- Place in the white lockbox located inside the band room.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO USING THIS WEBSITE TO SIGN-UP TO VOLUNTEER

1. Select "VOLUNTEER" in the above main menu bar to bring down the pull down menu.
2. Select "Volunteer Calendar" in the pull down menu: this will take you to the master calendar of opportunities.

3. Slect the event you want to volunteer for. (Thank you in advance for your support.)
4. Click on the colorful "Helping Hand". You will be taken to a page that has greater details for the event and when you scroll down you will see where you will enter your name, phone # and email address. Once you have completed the sign up process your contact information will be hidden from the public. Only the event coordinator will be able to see that information. 5. Click on the blue "Sign Up" button to complete the process. |
